My name is Esme' and I am a native New Englander with a love for all things entertainment.
Now, how did we get here?
The first movie and live musical I was ever shown was The Wizard of Oz, and that jittery theater bug bit me bad. I learned every line and lyric and was deeply convinced I was the Judy Garland (just ask my mom). Many dance classes, theater camps, and living room performances later, here I am holding onto my passion and my dreams.
“Some people without brains do an awful lot of talking, don’t you think?” The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
If I had a dollar for every time somebody told me, "If you can think of something else to do, do it", I could quit my restaurant job and just do the dang thing. The dream! In my work, I strive to bring vulnerability to the good, the bad, and the ugly that is life. We all have many opinions and individual experiences, and through developing clear understandings of their positions and points of view in life, I find rawness in each character. My goal is for an audience to walk away from a performance feeling enlightened, inspired, and connected to the world in which they live.
I will graduate from Marymount Manhattan College in the Spring of 2028 with my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting and a minor in Dance! Throughout my training, I have performed with a wide range of theater companies across New Hampshire. I grew up in a conventional competition-style dance studio where I gained a love for many different dance forms, especially tap. From 2021-2024, I was a member of the Teen Rep Company for the Seacoast Repertory Theatre, with whom I took classes and stage-managed 13. In the summer of 2024, I played Catherine of Aragon in Six! with Ovation Theatre Company for which I was nominated for Best Leading Actress in a musical by the New Hampshire Theatre Alliance. Since living in New York, I was inducted into MMC's only dance team, The Throne, performing several events and styles across the school year. In 2025, I worked on three short films, getting a taste of camera work, and then went on to professionally stage manage The Japanese Performing Arts production, Ages of Enchantment. Over the past few years, I have spent my summers teaching, directing, and choreographing youth theater camps with the Pine Street Players, the Seacoast Repertory Theater, and Musical Arts Academy. Recently, I choreographed a production of Dogfight at SUNY Purchase College and made my NYC debut as Judy in Small Mouth Sounds. I am committed to being the most versatile and well-rounded version of myself on and off the stage.
Apart from the performing arts, I am a HUGE foodie. I love to cook, bake, eat, admire, and everything in between. I enjoy spending my free time outside. Whether that be hiking, skiing, or taking a dip in the ocean, I'm here for it. I am learning to take in life day by day and allow the universe to do its thang!
Thank you very much for stopping by!
